Waterbuck SCI Silver Medal Taxidermy Mount – X-167WA

Description

Waterbuck Silver Medal Mount – X-167WA

This Waterbuck Silver Medal mount X-167WA presents an impressive African Waterbuck bull in a beautiful turned-head pose. Its SCI Silver Awards Class designation, prominent horns and distinctive presentation make it an excellent choice for an African wildlife collection or a substantial standalone display.

The turned-head position adds character to the mount while allowing the facial features and horn structure to stand out. Rather than facing directly forward, the pose creates additional depth and gives the specimen a more dynamic appearance when displayed on a wall.

SCI Silver Medal Waterbuck Taxidermy

One of the most important features of X-167WA is its SCI Silver Awards Class designation. For collectors interested in trophy-quality African taxidermy, this provides an important distinction beyond the mount’s visual presentation.

Male Waterbuck are particularly recognizable for their long, heavily ringed horns. On a shoulder mount, those horns create much of the specimen’s height and visual impact.

Waterbuck Shoulder Mount With Turned-Head Pose

The turned-head pose makes this Waterbuck particularly suitable for display in a trophy room, lodge, office, cabin or wildlife-themed interior. It can also complement other African antelope mounts in a larger collection.

Furthermore, positioning a mount with the head turned can help create a more varied display when several shoulder mounts share the same wall. Instead of every specimen facing directly outward, the different viewing direction introduces movement and visual interest.

African Waterbuck Taxidermy Display

Waterbuck are large African antelope, and mature bulls develop the substantial ringed horns that make the species immediately recognizable. Their distinctive appearance has also made Waterbuck shoulder mounts a notable part of many African taxidermy collections.

X-167WA combines that recognizable species profile with a trophy-class designation and attractive pose.

Buyers should examine all available product photographs carefully before ordering. The photographs provide the best view of the actual horn configuration, hair, coloring, facial details, turned-head position and overall condition.

Overall, this Waterbuck Silver Medal mount offers an attractive combination of trophy quality and presentation for collectors seeking a distinctive African shoulder mount.
