Black Wildebeest Shoulder Mount. X-125WI

Description

Black Wildebeest Shoulder Mount – X-125WI

The Black Wildebeest shoulder mount X-125WI offers an impressive African wildlife display with strong visual character. Its distinctive horns and dark coat create the recognizable appearance associated with this species. In addition, the shoulder-mount format makes it suitable for displaying as part of a larger African taxidermy collection.

Black Wildebeest are also known as white-tailed gnu. Therefore, this specimen can appeal to collectors looking for a distinctive wildebeest mount rather than a more commonly seen deer or antelope display.

African Black Wildebeest Taxidermy

The Black Wildebeest has a distinctive appearance among African game species. In particular, its sweeping horns, long facial profile and dark coloring create a striking presentation.

X-125WI allows those characteristics to become the focus of the display. Moreover, a shoulder mount provides strong visual presence without requiring the floor space of a life-size specimen.

The species is scientifically known as Connochaetes gnou. It is separate from the Blue Wildebeest, although both belong to the same genus.

Black Wildebeest Mount for Collectors

This Black Wildebeest taxidermy mount can work well alongside other African species. For example, collectors may display it with Waterbuck, Impala, Gemsbok, Sable or Eland mounts.

Alternatively, X-125WI can serve as a standalone wildlife display. Its characteristic horn structure helps create an immediately recognizable silhouette.

Because of its African origin and distinctive appearance, the specimen can complement a trophy room, lodge, cabin or wildlife-themed interior.

Display and Buying Considerations

Buyers should review all available photographs before purchasing X-125WI. In particular, the images provide the best view of the actual horns, coat coloring, facial details, pose and overall condition.

The photographs can also help buyers judge the amount of wall space needed for the specimen. However, exact overall dimensions are not currently provided in the available product information. Therefore, we have not estimated or invented measurements.

Overall, this Black Wildebeest shoulder mount offers collectors a distinctive African wildlife presentation. Its recognizable horns, dark coloring and shoulder-mount format make it an interesting addition to a varied taxidermy collection.
