Addax Shoulder Mount. X-140AD

Description

Addax Shoulder Mount X-140AD

This Addax shoulder mount X-140AD is a distinctive taxidermy specimen featuring attractive coloring and long, twisted horns. The horns measure approximately 25 4/8 inches and 24 1/8 inches in length, while the bases measure approximately 5 3/8 inches each. Its head-up presentation and characteristic appearance make this mount an impressive display piece for an African or exotic taxidermy collection.

Addax Shoulder Mount With 24-Inch-Plus Horns

One of the most noticeable features of X-140AD is its horn presentation. Both horns extend beyond 24 inches, giving the mount a strong visual profile. The left horn measures approximately 25 4/8 inches, while the right measures approximately 24 1/8 inches.

The right horn is missing its tip, which helps explain the difference in length between the two horns. Therefore, buyers should review the available photographs carefully to evaluate this feature and the overall appearance of the actual specimen.

Size and Display

The Addax shoulder mount measures approximately:

• 44 inches high
• 18 inches wide
• 25 inches deep

These measurements can help buyers plan an appropriate wall and display area before purchasing. The mount presents the head upright with a turn toward the left, allowing the horns and facial features to remain prominent when viewed in a room.

Condition and Appearance

X-140AD features the pale coloring and distinctive horn shape associated with the Addax. The mount has detailed workmanship and presents well as an African wildlife display.

However, buyers should be aware of the specimen’s existing characteristics. In addition to the missing tip on the right horn, there is a bare area on the chest where hair has worn away. These details are important when evaluating a previously mounted taxidermy specimen.

Overall, X-140AD combines long horns, distinctive coloring and a classic shoulder-mount presentation. Buyers should examine all available product photographs for a closer look at the actual specimen before ordering.
