Red Brown Black Bear Skin Rug – B-141R

The Red Brown Bear rug B-141R features a distinctive red-brown color phase and an impressive full-size presentation. Measuring approximately 89″ long × 72″ wide, this Premier-quality specimen offers substantial size for a lodge, cabin or North American wildlife collection.

The bear measures approximately 77″ from nose to tail and features an open-mouth taxidermy presentation. In addition, all claws remain intact and in great condition, adding to the character of this individual specimen.

Red-Brown Black Bear Taxidermy Rug

B-141R stands out because of its red-brown coloration. This natural color phase gives the specimen a noticeably different appearance from the darker Black Bear rugs commonly seen in taxidermy collections.

The rug measures approximately 89 inches in overall length and 72 inches across its width. Meanwhile, the actual nose-to-tail measurement reaches approximately 77 inches, or 6 feet 5 inches.

The open-mouth presentation adds visual character to the mounted head. Furthermore, the intact claws contribute to the complete appearance of the rug.

Premier Bear Rug With Double-Felt Backing

The taxidermist finished B-141R with double felt and quilted backing, giving the reverse side a polished appearance. The rug also includes sewn-in hanging rings, which provide a practical option for wall display.

The exact specimen carries a Premier quality rating. Its substantial dimensions, unusual coloring, intact claws and finished backing create a strong overall presentation.

B-141R can serve as a prominent standalone wildlife piece. Alternatively, collectors can display it alongside other North American taxidermy in a larger collection.

Display and Buying Considerations

Buyers should note that the fur appears somewhat thinner along the flanks. The specimen information identifies this as a fall-harvested bear, and buyers should consider this natural condition characteristic when reviewing the rug.

The available photographs provide the best view of the actual fur density, red-brown coloration, facial presentation, claws and overall condition.

Also consider the rug’s substantial 89″ × 72″ overall dimensions before choosing a display location. The sewn-in rings make wall presentation possible, while the large dimensions create considerable visual impact.

Overall, B-141R combines a distinctive red-brown color phase, Premier quality, intact claws, open-mouth presentation and double-felted quilted backing. Its impressive size makes this Red Brown Bear rug a distinctive addition to a lodge, cabin or North American wildlife collection.
