Rocky Mountain Bull Elk Shoulder Mount – E-129S

Description

Rocky Mountain Bull Elk Shoulder Mount – E-129S

The Bull Elk shoulder mount E-129S features a large antler rack, solid beams and a distinctive hard-turned pose. The bull turns strongly to its left, looking along the wall toward the viewer’s right. This position gives the specimen considerably more character than a straightforward head-forward presentation.

The mount also features attractive natural coloring and good hair thickness and length. In addition, the rack has an inside spread measuring more than 40 inches, creating substantial visual presence when displayed.

Rocky Mountain Bull Elk Taxidermy

E-129S has a closed-mouth pose with the head turned strongly to the bull’s left. As a result, the mount works especially well where its directional pose can be appreciated from different viewing angles.

The antler rack features six points on one side and five primary qualifying points on the other. There is also a smaller additional point that exceeds one inch from the center of the main beam. Therefore, the rack has plenty of individual character rather than appearing perfectly uniform.

Furthermore, the solid beams and more than 40″ inside spread give this Rocky Mountain Bull Elk a substantial trophy appearance.

Elk Shoulder Mount With 40″+ Spread

The complete Bull Elk shoulder mount measures approximately 55″ H × 45″ W × 48″ D. Because Elk mounts project considerably farther from the wall than most deer mounts, these measurements are important when planning the display area.

The specimen hangs from a single, well-secured fastener, making the mounting arrangement straightforward. Its large dimensions make it suitable as a standalone feature piece. Alternatively, E-129S can complement a larger collection of North American game species.

The coloring and hair remain attractive, while the substantial rack provides the primary visual focus.

Display and Buying Considerations

E-129S has some minor ear damage that is visible on close inspection. This condition detail should be considered when evaluating the specimen. Because of that damage, the exact specimen received a Nice+ assessment rather than an Excellent rating.

Buyers should review the available photographs carefully to see the ears, antlers, hair, coloring and turned-head presentation before purchasing.

Also allow adequate space for approximately 55″ of height, 45″ of width and 48″ of depth. The more than 40″ inside antler spread further contributes to the mount’s substantial size.

Overall, this Bull Elk shoulder mount combines a large rack, solid beams, 40″+ inside spread, attractive coloring and a dramatic turned-head pose. E-129S offers considerable character for a lodge, cabin, business or North American wildlife collection.
