Waterbuck Shoulder Mount – X-165WA

This Waterbuck shoulder mount X-165WA combines excellent overall quality with a classic head-up, forward-facing presentation. The specimen carries an SCI score of 65 4/8″, adding an important trophy measurement to an already impressive African taxidermy display.

Waterbuck Taxidermy With SCI Score

One of the most important documented details of X-165WA is its SCI score of 65 4/8″. This gives collectors a specific trophy measurement rather than relying solely on the visual appearance of the specimen.

The mount is also described as being in excellent overall quality, making those trophy characteristics even more appealing as part of a finished display.

African Waterbuck Shoulder Mount

Mature male Waterbuck are immediately recognizable by their long, prominently ringed horns. On a shoulder mount, these horns create much of the specimen’s vertical profile and visual impact.

The classic head-up position of X-165WA keeps these features prominent while maintaining a natural and traditional trophy appearance.

Furthermore, the forward-facing pose provides flexibility when planning a larger collection. It can serve as a central specimen between mounts that turn in opposite directions or stand alone as a focal point.

Trophy Waterbuck Taxidermy Display

This specimen can work particularly well in a trophy room, lodge, office, cabin or other interior featuring African wildlife.

Collectors building a broader African antelope display can also combine the mount with species such as sable, impala, puku, wildebeest or other African game specimens.

With its 65 4/8″ SCI score, excellent overall quality and classic pose, X-165WA provides both documented trophy information and strong visual presence.

Buyers should examine all available photographs carefully before ordering. The images provide the best view of the actual horn configuration, coloring, hair, facial details, pose and overall condition.

Overall, this Waterbuck shoulder mount offers a strong combination of trophy measurement, excellent quality and classic African taxidermy presentation.
